PROVO, Utah - The BYU men's basketball team will play its first of two exhibition games this Friday at 7 p.m. MDT in the Marriott Center against Southeastern Oklahoma State.

The game will be broadcast live on BYUtv and online for free at byutvsports.com/gameday

The Cougars are coming off their annual Cougar Tipoff, won by the blue team 84-70. Tyler Haws led the blue squad, and all players, with 26 points. Brandon Davies led the white team with 20 points while also contributing seven rebounds and four assists — all in the first half. Six other players scored in double-figures on the night including junior college transfers Agustin Ambrosino and Raul Delgado with 17 and 14 points, respectively.

Southeastern Oklahoma State returns three of its top five scorers, all of which were starters in the team's conference portion of last year's schedule. Urald King highlights the three starters, averaging 11.3 ppg and a team-best 7.4 rpg last season to help the Storm finish 12-17 on the season.

The Storm ended their 2011-12 season with a first-round loss in the Great American Conference Tournament to Ouachita Baptist. The post-season tournament last season was the team's first appearance since 2007.

Fans can also follow the game on the radio by listening live at KSL 102.7 FM and 1160 AM, or online at KSL.com.
