TUSCON, Ariz. - The BYU men's tennis team finished its first fall tournament competition with some positive results in Tucson, Arizona this weekend.

“While results in pre-season tournaments are taken into account when it comes to our lineup for the first match of the season, what matters most is that our players are getting better from day to day and week to week,” BYU head coach Brad Pearce said. “I was very pleased that our play vastly improved from day one to day two of the tournament. Simply getting better is paramount this time of the year.”

The Wildcat Invitational consisted of four singles draws and two doubles draws. BYU competed in three of the four singles draws, Wimbledon, the Australian Open and the French Open. The Cougars also competed in the two doubles draws, the Wilber and Wilma Doubles.
