Lauren Atkinson selected to the All-American Scholar Team

PROVO, Utah - The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars for Division I, II & III has announced a total of 644 women's collegiate golfers to its list, including BYU sophomore Lauren Atkinson, for 2012-2013. The criteria for the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, one of which is having a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50. 

Atkinson, a comparative literature major, was also named to the 2012-2013 West Coast Conference Women's Golf All-Academic Team and finished 21st at the WCC Championships, her best finish of the season.
