Junior midfielder Medeiros and sophomore forward Gomes were each selected to the NSCAA All-West Region First Team, while junior goalkeeper Rachel Boaz and junior forward Michele Murphy Vasconcelos were selected to the NSCAA All-West Region Second Team.
It is the second All-West Region honors for Medeiros and Vasconcelos who each earned third team honors last year. Boaz previously earned All-Pacific Region First Team honors during her sophomore season at San Diego State.
Medeiros finished the season with a career-high eight goals to go with an assist. She was selected to the All-WCC First Team and was an All-WCC Academic Honorable Mention. Gomes led the WCC in goals with nine, including seven in conference play. She also added four assists on the year. She was voted WCC Player of the Year and earned a Player of the Week award in October.
Boaz set BYU records for goals against average and save percentage and was part of a defense that allowed the fewest goals in BYU history along with the second-most shutouts in program history. Boaz was voted WCC Goalkeeper of the Year and was selected to the All-WCC Second Team. Vasconcelos finished the year with three goals and three assists, while playing at both forward and midfielder. Vasconcelos was also selected to the All-WCC First Team and was an All-WCC Academic Honorable Mention.
