Billings takes us through her battle with cancer and how a career-ending injury in college led her to BYU to become an athletic trainer, eventually leading her down a path that allowed her to step out of her comfort zone and be named the Director of Sports Medicine. Despite her many challenges, Billings has managed to find purpose in her life and is always ready to hop on her motorcycle and take life head on.
The Athletes' Journal series regularly features the unique perspectives of BYU student-athletes throughout the year and provides in-depth insight into the lives of members of BYU’s intercollegiate sports programs.
