The BYU women's soccer team's 2012 season was its most successful overall in program history. The Cougars finished 20-2-2 on the year, made their first run back to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight since the 2003 campaign and won their first outright West Coast Conference title while achieving the highest ranking ever in program history, a No. 2 national ranking.

Video Recap

The 2012-13 squad produced two NSCAA All-Americans in Lindsi Lisonbee Cutshall and Jessica Ringwood, five NCAA All-Region winners in Cutshall, Ringwood, Erica Owens, Carlee Payne Holmoe and Cloee Colohan, and one Hermann Trophy Finalist in Cutshall.

Cutshall was named a first team All-American by the NSCAA and became the first BYU player since Aleisha Cramer Rose in 2003 to receive first team recognition.

BYU head coach Jennifer Rockwood has accumulated an overall 293-84-31 record to make her the No. 6 winningest active head coach in the NCAA Division I. In her 18-year tenure, Rockwood has guided the Cougars to eight conference titles and 14 appearances in the postseason NCAA tournament. This season she was named the WCC Coach of the Year and the NSCAA All-West Region Coach of the Year.
