Regular Season Ends with Victory Over Rams

FORT COLLINS -- The BYU women's tennis team finished the regular season on Saturday on a good note. The Cougars defeated the Rams of Colorado State to finish the season with a 5-2 record in MWC play and a 11-10 overall record.

The Cougars won the match by only losing one individual match. In doubles, BYU won all three matches convincingly to capture the doubles point. In singles, the Cougars won all matches at the last five positions. It took Dominique Reynolds at No. 2 and Olga Boulytcheva at No. 3 three sets, but both clinched big wins to lead the Cougars to victory.

BYU will be off next week as they prepare for the conference tournament, which will be held from April 24 through the 26 in San Diego, Calif.
