Boswell has also made an impact serving in her church callings as the chair of a service council in 2016 and, most recently, as the president of her ward’s Relief Society. She has additionally spent countless hours completing her clinical studies at a nearby hospital over the last three years.

Boswell joins former Cougar football quarterback Taysom Hill as a 2017 honorable mention recipient of the HERO of the Year award. BYU was the only school in the country to have both a female and male athlete recognized.
