PROVO, Utah – No. 10 BYU women’s volleyball will kick off its 2022 season with a Blue vs. White scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. MDT in the Smith Fieldhouse.
After back-to-back Sweet 16 runs during the 2021 calendar year, the Cougars look to build upon their success heading into the final year of competition in the West Coast Conference.
BYU welcomes five freshmen this season after honoring five seniors last year: Hannah Billeter, Eden Bower, Briley Decker, Nataly Moravec and Kate Prior. The Cougars also added transfers Kelsey Knudsen and Abby Taylor.
The scrimmage will be non-ticketed and open seating, but will not be broadcast by BYUtv. The Cougars open the regular season with the first of two BYU Invitational tournaments this season, hosting Rider and Duke on Friday, Aug. 26 at noon and 7 p.m. MDT.
