COLORADO SPRINGS -- BYU Senior Barbora Zahnova was named the Mountain West Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Zahnova led the 21st-ranked Cougars to a come from behind upset win over No. 13 Clemson last week, beating top-10 opponents in both singles and doubles play. She started the match teaming with Sofia Holden to defeat the No. 7 ranked duo of Julie Coin and Maria Brito, 8-6, followed with a 6-7, 7-6, 6-0 upset of the 6th-ranked Coin at No. 1 singles. With the victory, the Cougars moved to the No. 14 spot in the team rankings, while Zahnova moved up to No. 32 on the singles chart.
