BYU freshman Anastasia Sourkova, making her first appearance of the season after sitting out the fall due to injury, overwhelmed Weber's number one singles player Elana Smit 6-2,6-2.
Cougar Sophomore Lauren Jones, playing number two singles, easily took care of Alexandra Llie 6-1,6-2, while Olga Boulytcheva and Sofia Holden, playing the three and four singles for BYU overcame Chelsee Drews and Karla Pretoruis of Weber State by the same score of 6-2,6-2.
