POSTGAME NOTES
- BYU's starting lineup was the 14th different starting lineup in 19 games.
- BYU did not score a basket until 15:39 left in the first half.
- With BYU trailing 20-10 in the first half, the Cougars held Air Force scoreless for 8:32 while going on an 11-0 run and taking the lead at 21-20.
- Mike Hall posted a career high in blocks with three. He knocked down three treys, his first game with more than two threes since hitting a career-best five triples at Weber State on Dec. 23.
- Keena Young recorded his first double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. His 14 points ties his career high while his 11 rebounds is a new career best. Young now has 110 rebounds as a Cougar to average a team-leading 5.8 boards per game.
- Air Force had 12 steals, which equals the second most by a BYU opponent this season.
- The Cougars shot 3-for-8 (.375) from the free-throw line, their lowest percentage of the season. The last time BYU made less than 50 percent from the line was 12/23/03 at Utah State (43.8%). BYU entered the game ranked ninth nationally with the top team free-throw percentage in the Mountain West Conference.
- BYU now has a 1-2 record this season when tied with their opponent at halftime.
