Coaches Quotes
BYU Coach Steve Cleveland
- "This season has been a test of character for our team. We have had a lot of close games and we just can't get over the hump."
- "We had plenty of chances and wide open shots in the first half. We had a lot of good looks in the second half. I thought that we'd shoot better in the second but we didn't. But, when you're shooting 30% at home you aren't going to win games."
- "The team's confidence level is a consistency issue. We just can't sustain; we're missing the open shots."
- "We're doing what we need to do to get shots, we have just had a hard time scoring. We make the shots in practice but we just can't do it in the game."
- "It is a good thing to have another game in the next 48 hours. We want to get this taste out of our mouth."
Wyoming Coach Steve McClain
- On the Ainge foul -- "I figured we were gonna get five more minutes and you know I was excited about it and I feel bad for him."
- "To come in here and see them shoot 30 percent on their floor, we guarded pretty well for 40 minutes and we overcame the fact we didn't rebound well enough and we didn't make free throws."
- On Winning at BYU -- "Well I'd won here before when I was at TCU the year BYU won one game, but that didn't count I guess. Now, no question."
