BYU Television to Provide Live Broadcast Coverage
PROVO -- In an effort to make more games available to Cougar fans on television, BYU Television and its local PBS affiliate, KBYU, will broadcast live next Saturday's BYU men's basketball game at Boise State University. The television broadcast begins at 7 p.m. MT.
BYU Television is available in 45 million homes throughout Utah and the United States on the Dish Network, DirecTV, and approximately 180 cable systems. The station also provides a live program stream available worldwide via the Internet at byutv.org. KBYU, channel 11, is a PBS affiliate available in Utah.
The No. 21-ranked BYU Cougars (9-2) are besting opponents by an average of 17.2 points per game this year while winning six games by at least 20 points. The Cougars' only two losses this season have come to top-10 teams in No. 1 North Carolina and No. 9 Michigan State. Juniors Trent Plaisted and Lee Cummard have racked up three Mountain West Conference Player of the Week honors this year.
The BYU vs. Boise State game will be the sixth Cougar men's basketball game broadcast live on BYU Television this year.
