CLEVELAND -- Senior offensive lineman Dallas Reynolds continues to rack up the preseason honors, most recently being named to Phil Steele's Preseason All-American Fourth Team Offense. He was also named to the NationalChamps.net Preseason All-America second team earlier this spring, and is a 2008 All-America, Outland trophy and Rotary Lonmardi Award candidate.
Reynolds was also named to Phil Steele's Preseason All-MWC First Team Offense, along with quarterback Max Hall, running back Harvey Unga, wide receiver Austin Collie, tight end Dennis Pitta and fellow offensive lineman Ray Feinga. Defensive lineman Jan Jorgensen is the lone Cougar represented on the defensive first team.
Collie was named to the All-MWC Second Team for his kick returning duties. Joining him on the second team are linebacker David Nixon, defensive tackle Russell Tialavea and offensive linemen Tom Sorenson and Travis Bright.
Three Cougars were named to the third team--offensive lineman David Oswald, punter CJ Santiago and punt returner Bryce Mahuika--while wide receiver Michael Reed, defensive lineman Bernard Afutiti and kicker Justin Sorensen received honorable mention.
Phil Steele's College Football Preview, which hits newsstands June 10th, is considered one of the nation's most informative preseason football magazines.
