UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA – BYU women’s golf sits in 12th after posting a 24-over-par total during the first two rounds of Monday's Leadership and Golf Invitational at Chamber’s Bay Golf Course.

USC (276-285—561) leads the event at 15 under with Minnesota (283-285—568) seven shots off the pace at 8 under after 36 holes. Colorado (289-291—580) sits at 4 over par in third with Georgia Southern (294-287—581) and Oregon State (290-295—285) rounding out the top 5.  

The Cougars carded rounds of 298-302—600 over the first 36 holes and look to move up the leaderboard in Tuesday's final round.

Freshman Lilly DeNunzio carded rounds of 76-71—147 to sit in a tie for 24th at 3 over par. Lila Galeai is tied for 41st at 6 over after posting scores of 73-77—150.

Adeline Anderson (75-76–151; +7), Lily McCauley (74-78–152; +8) and MJ Barragan (76-83–159; +15) are also teeing it up for the Cougars in the Pacific Northwest.

Alexa Udom, playing as an individual, opened the season with rounds of 77-78—155 to enter the third day at 11 over par. 

BYU will begin its final round at the Leadership and Golf Invitational at 8 a.m. PDT on Tuesday. The Cougars will tee it up with Washington State, Fresno State and Cal Poly with the final round broadcast on GKLive.Tv and live scoring available at birdiefire.com.
