IRVING, Texas — BYU women’s volleyball outside hitter Erin Livingston was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, the league announced Tuesday morning.
Livingston fueled BYU to consecutive sweeps of Cincinnati this past week, posting 19 kills in each win for a total of 38 kills on a .552 clip. The Corona, Calif. native averaged 6.33 kills per set and 7.08 points per set, both conference highs, and also recorded three service aces.
Recording double-digit kills in 21 of the Cougars' 25 matches this season, Livingston ranks No. 34 nationally in kills per set, at 4.04. She leads BYU with 339 kills for the season, and is hitting .270 on the year.
This is the Cougars’ sixth weekly conference award of the season. Livingston and middle blockers Mia Lee and Whitney McEwan-Llarenas have all garnered honors for BYU this year:

Livingston's three Offensive Player of the Week awards are the most by a Big 12 player this season. The 12th-ranked Cougars continue Big 12 play this week with two matches at UCF.
