Taylor listed as Off the Block's 2024 Preseason Second Team All-American

Ahead of the 2024 NCAA Men's Volleyball season, Off the Block announced its annual Preseason All-America Teams, with BYU's junior middle blocker Teon Taylor named a Second-Team Preseason All-American.

PROVO, Utah — Ahead of the 2024 NCAA Men's Volleyball season, Off the Block announced its annual Preseason All-America Teams, with BYU's junior middle blocker Teon Taylor named a Second-Team Preseason All-American.

A nationwide voting committee selected 25 players to the 2024 Off the Block Preseason All-America Team. The 12 players receiving the most votes were named Preseason First-Team All-Americans, while the next top 12 vote-getters were selected as Preseason Second-Team All-Americans. An additional player made the second team as a result of a tie in the voting.

Taylor was second in the nation with a 1.32 blocks per game average last season, including a season-high 13 blocks in a victory against UC Irvine. He also finished with a .366 attack percentage as BYU finished second in the MPSF in 2023.
