Cougars to tee it up at Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational

BYU women's golf will tee it up in round one of the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational on Monday.

MANHATTAN, Kansas — BYU women's golf will tee it up in round one of the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational on Monday.

Head coach Carrie Roberts will travel with Lila Galeai, Adeline Anderson, Lily DeNunzio, Lily McCauley, and MJ Barragán to play at Colbert Hills Golf Club. Berlin Long will also be making the trip as the sophoore will compete as an individual. 

The first 36 holes of the 6,367-yard course will be played on Monday, Oct. 2, with the final round being contested on Tuesday, Oct. 3.

BYU will join a 9-team field that includes Big 12 foes Kansas State, who is hosting the event, and Cincinnati. Bradley, Charlotte, Middle Tennesee, Oral Robert, Sam Houston, and Rutgers will also compete.
