PROVO, Utah — BYU women's tennis looks to pick up its sixth win of the season this weekend against Colorado State on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m.

BYU Notes

  • Head Coach Holly Hasler is in her sixth season, boasting a record of 63-48. Hasler is assisted by Gabby Curtis, who is in her third season.
  • The Cougars are 5-1 with a 4-2 loss against Utah and a 5-2 win over Weber State last week.
  • Bobo Huang (4-0), Tina Li (4-1), and Kara Wheatley (4-1) are currently tied as leading BYU in singles victories with four, and the doubles tandem of Huang and Kaavya Sawhney leads the team in doubles victories with four.
  • The doubles teams of Wheatley/Li and Emilee Astle/Kendall Kovick are both undefeated with three wins each.
  • Last week against Utah, Huang defeated Marcela Lopez, who is currently ranked No. 59 in singles, in straight sets.
  • Huang is currently ranked the No. 100 singles player in the nation.
  • The Cougars are 5-1 for the first time since 2021.

  • The Rams are 3-1 this year with a 5-2 win over Missouri last week.
  • Colorado State went 16-8 last season, with five wins on the road.
