INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - BYU track and field/cross country head athletic trainer Dustin Williams was named to the Team USA Olympic Medical Staff as Co-Head Athletic Trainer over track and field for the 2024 Olympic Games.

"I'm excited to be a part of the staff and help all the athletes in achieving their goal of competing at the Olympic Games," said Williams about the announcement. "Having been in this role before, I'm excited to be able to continue to help the athletes achieve their dreams and goals. That's what it's all about: to be an instrument to help them shine on the big stage."
Williams currently serves as the Head Athletic Trainer for the men's and women's track and field/cross programs. He worked at BYU from 2006 to 2011 in that role. "It's great to be able to know a lot of the athletes," Williams said. "I'm excited for Conner and Clayton. I've been working with them for more than six years, so it's exciting. It will also be great to see Rory with Team Canada and I'm excited to be able to support all former Cougars and all athletes that I've worked with in my journey to the Olympic Games."
