Long, McCauley named 2024 Academic All-District Women’s At-Large team members

GREENWOOD, In. – Berlin Long and Lily McCauley were named as College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women’s At-Large honorees.

The sophomores Long (Pre-business) and McCauley were recognized as Academic All-District Women’s At-Large honorees, both of which have shown greatness on the course and in the classroom. 

CSC honors student-athletes across the nation who maintain a minimum 3.50 GPA and who have competed in 70 percent of the team’s total events throughout the season. The student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in both academics and athletics, with no 12-month residency required for an undergraduate transfer.

Long, a native of Lehi, Utah represented BYU in eight events throughout the 2023-2024 season with an average of 76.26. She recorded three top-25 finishes including an 11th place finish at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational. 

Hailing from Olympia, Washington, McCauley played in 11 events during her first season as a Cougar. The Washington State transfer finished sixth at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational where she shot a season-low 4-under 68 during the second round which included four birdies and 14 pars.
