BYU Women’s Golf releases 2024-25 schedule

BYU women’s golf released the schedule for its 2024-25 campaign on Monday, the Cougars' second season in the Big 12 Conference.

PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s golf released the schedule for its 2024-25 campaign on Monday, the Cougars' second season in the Big 12 Conference.

“We are really excited to get our season going,” said head coach Carrie Roberts. “We hope to improve significantly upon last year. We hope that we can do some amazing things this year for the program.”

This 2024-25 roster consists of two seniors, recent Utah Women’s Amateur champion Adeline Wach and Alexa Udom and two juniors Sunbin Seo and Berlin Long. Sophomores Whitney Banz, Maria Barragan, Lilly Denunzio and Lily McCauley all return, and will be joined by incoming freshmen Naji Aramkul and Ava Schroeder

BYU’s upcoming season begins in Albuquerque Sept. 9-10, where they will compete at the Dick McGuire Invitational. Two weeks later from Sept. 24-25, the Cougars travel to Lubbock, Texas to play in fellow Big 12 member Texas Tech’s tournament, the Red Raider Invitational.

Joining the BYU men’s golf team, the women will head to Fayetteville, Arkansas to compete in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1. To finish their southern swing, they’ll tee it up at the Dale McNamara Invitational in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma from Oct. 14-15.

To conclude the fall season, they’ll compete in the Nanea Tournament in Kailua Kona, Hawaii at Nanea Golf Club from Oct. 28-30.

After a three-month intermission, the Cougars will resume their season at the FAU Paradise Invitational at Osprey Point Golf Club in Boca Raton, Florida from Feb. 3-4.

BYU will then compete at the San Diego State Classic at The Heights Golf Club from Feb. 10-11. A couple weeks later the Cougars will participate in the Causeway Invitational at Sacramento’s Del Paso Country Club from Feb. 24-25. 

In March, BYU will travel to Fairfax, California from March 3-4 for the Juli Inkster Meadow Club Intercollegiate at the Meadow Club before heading back to Hawaii for the Dr. Donnie Thompson Invitational in Lihue, March 24-25. 

To conclude March, the women return to California for the Olympic Club Invitational in San Francisco before a couple of weeks off to prepare for the championship season. Two weeks later, the Cougars will tee it up at the Big 12 Women’s Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Southern Hills Country Club.

The NCAA Regionals are set for May 5-7, and the NCAA Championships will take place in Carlsbad, California from May 21-28 at Omni La Costa Resort.
