PROVO, Utah — The BYU women's tennis team will compete in ITA Regionals at NMSU starting Oct. 17, with five singles and two doubles entries.

Athletes Hiba Heni, Bobo Huang, Kendall Kovick, Sue Yan Tan and Bitsy Tullis will each be competing in doubles and singles. Huang and Kovick are in the singles main draw of 64, while Heni, Tan and Tullis will play in the qualifying draw.

Huang goes into ITA Regionals after making it to the singles quarterfinals and doubles finals in the ITF W35 Bakersfield Tournament.

The doubles teams will be Huang/Kovick and Tan/Tullis, both of which are competing in the main doubles draw of 32.

The two singles finalists of the tournament will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship, and the doubles champion will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship.
