MEET FOES
Air Force men’s swimming has split a pair of meets versus Denver and Wyoming while beating Omaha, Grand Canyon, Colorado School of Mines and Seattle U. Falcon women’s swimming has 12 wins in dual meet scoring including victories over Colorado State, Liberty, UTRGV and New Mexico with losses to Denver, Washington State, Wyoming and Colorado State.
The Colorado Mesa women and men rank first and second, respectively, in the current CSCAA Division II Top 25.

BYU brings the only top 50 nationally-ranked performers into Colorado Springs this weekend.
Mackenzie Miller Lung rose to No. 44 nationally in the women’s 100 breast after clocking a personal-best 1:00.28 (adjusted to 1:00.18 for altitude) in the Cougars’ win over Denver on Jan. 18. Miller Lung already holds the nation’s No. 25 spot in the 200 breast at 2:09.61.
Each of BYU men’s swimming relay squads hold top 50 rankings as do divers Alexia Jackson Hansen, Chase Hindmarsh, Marti Llop, Ezra Purcell and Bryce Roper. Hindmarsh’s season-best 318.25 on platform stands at 16th nationally.
LAST TIME OUT
BYU men’s swimming topped Denver 193-107 with pool-record performances from Darwin Anderson and Tanner Nelson on Saturday at the Richards Building. Anderson cut over eight seconds off his previous pool record in the 1000 free for a personal-best 9:17.13 while Nelson clocked a personal-best 1:35.59 in the 200 free.
Freshmen Max Kleinman and Peter Etzold also won two events apiece as the Cougar men’s swimming finished their home meet schedule with three wins in three meets.
Miller Lung and Halli Williams combined for 36 points to help BYU women’s swimming defeat the Pioneers 158-142. The meet came down to the final two events and the Cougars answered the bell with freshman Lucy Warnick winning the 200 individual medley at 2:03.55 and the foursome of Haylee Tiffany, Emma Marusakova, Lily Flint and Williams taking first in the 400 free relay.
