FORT COLLINS, Colo. — After winning three default matches, securing the doubles point and three singles victories, BYU celebrated Valentine's Day with a 5-1 win against CSU.

Smith and Tullis automatically won their match after a forfeit by CSU, so BYU only had to win one other doubles match to secure the doubles point. Huang and Levelson played a tiebreaker and lost their set 7-6, but Bluestein and Kovick closed out their match 6-4.

Two singles forfeits from the Rams gave the Cougars two more points going into the round of singles matches.
Huang's 6-2 6-3 match sealed the victory for BYU, and Kovick and Tan added two more points to the board, closing the match 6-1.
