PROVO, Utah — The BYU women's tennis team extended their win streak to seven with a victory over the Aggies on Friday, Feb. 21. The Cougars are now 9-3 this season and 4-0 at home.

Huang and Tan took the first doubles match for the Cougars, giving up only one game in the set. Despite being down 0-3 in their set, Kovick and Bluestein came back to win 7-5, securing the doubles point for BYU.
Levelston and Tullis left their match unfinished at 5-4.

Despite a USU default win to start the round of singles play, the Cougars bounced back with two-set wins by Huang and Kovick.
Smith took BYU's third singles point after a first-set comeback tiebreaker, followed by a quick 6-1 second set. Smith's victory clinched the match for the Cougars.
Tan shut out her opponent in the first set, then narrowly lost the second set in a tiebreaker. She came back in a third-set tiebreak, losing only two of the 12 points played.
Tullis started the first set down 0-3 but came back 6-4. She carried her momentum into the second set with a 6-1 win.
