FRISCO, Texas — BYU football participated in 2025 Big 12 Football Media Days Tuesday at the Dallas Cowboys global headquarters, The Star in Frisco, Texas.
Among the first conference media days of the 2025 college football season, Big 12 Football Media Days brought together the head coaches and several players from each Big 12 school to meet with media members from all over the country.
Head coach Kalani Sitake and five players, including wide receiver Chase Roberts, running back LJ Martin, linebackers Isaiah Glasker and Jack Kelly and defensive lineman Keanu Tanuvasa represented the Cougars on Tuesday.
Joining BYU on day one was Arizona State, Baylor, UCF, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kansas State and Texas Tech. Coaches and players from Arizona, Colorado, Houston, Kansas, Oklahoma State, TCU, Utah and West Virginia will participated on Wednesday from The Star.
Both days of the event were broadcast live in their entirety on ESPNU and ESPN+, with portions of the day broadcast live on ESPN2 for the first time ever. Additionally, the event was broadcast on Big 12 Studios.
BYUtv was on site to conduct interviews and produced special BYU Sports Nation coverage each day. National and local radio broadcasts also conducted interviews from The Star with live coverage throughout the two-day event.
The Big 12 Conference is comprised of 16 institutions. The league is an NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics conference that now encompasses 10 states, and four time zones.
The Big 12 enters its 30th year as one of the nation’s premier conferences in college athletics under the leadership of Commissioner Brett Yormark. Since joining the Conference in August 2022, Yormark has elevated the Big 12 to new heights, emphasizing marketing, brand building and instilling an innovative strategy that has resonated across the college athletics landscape.
