FREEPORT, Bahamas - BYU Alumni Kenneth Rooks took third in the men’s 3000-meter Steeplechase at the North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) Championship on Sunday Evening
Rooks finished in 8:26.52, placing third and putting him just one second shy of his performance two weeks ago at the USA Track and Field Championships where he placed first in the 3000m Steeplechase.
The 2024 Olympic Silver Medalist will compete at the World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan starting on September 13th.
