Warner was originally drafted by the 49ers in the third round (70th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. Throughout his seven-year career (2018-24), he has started in all 115 games he has appeared in and registered 896 tackles, 10.0 sacks, 53 passes defensed, 10 interceptions (two returned for a touchdown), 15 forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries. He has also started in 12 postseason contests and recorded 97 tackles, five passes defensed, two interceptions and one forced fumble.
A four-time Associated Press First-Team All-Pro (2020, 2022-24) and Pro Bowl selection (2021, 2023-25), Warner has led the 49ers in total tackles in each season of his career and ranks second in franchise history in total tackles with 896.
Another linebacker, Kyle Van Noy, continues to add to his NFL resume with arguably his best statistical season yet in his 12th year in the league. The two-time Super Bowl champ posted 41 tackles. 12.5 sacks, two pass deflections, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in his second year with the Baltimore Ravens to earn a Pro Bowl selection in 2024.
Wide receiver Puka Nacua followed up his record rookie season with another successful year, despite being limited to just 11 games due to injury.
Nacua, a 2023 Pro Bowl selection and All-Rookie Team honoree, caught 79 passes for 990 yards and three touchdowns in his second year in the league. Through two years in the NFL, Nacua is averaging 88.4 receptions per game.
BYU's trio of experienced NFL offensive lineman are continuing to make noise in the league, with Brady Christensen, Blake Freeland and Kingsley Suamataia.
Christensen has played in 51 games with the Carolina Panthers since 2021, including 30 starts, mostly at guard. Freeland has seen action in 25 games over his first two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, including nine starts as a rookie while Kingsley Suamataia appeared in 15 games for the Kansas City Chiefs with two starts as a rookie in 2024.
The Kansas City Chiefs are still led by BYU alum Andy Reid, heading into his 27th year as an NFL head coach and 13th with the Chiefs. Reid's 273 career wins are the most among any active head coach and No. 4 all-time in NFL history.
Reid took Kansas City back to the Super Bowl following the 2024 season in search for a third consecutive title but came up short of adding his fourth ring as a head coach and fifth overall in his career. His four Super Bowl titles (three as a head coach and one as an assistant) is tied among all BYU alum for the most Super Bowl rings as a player or a coach.
Running back Tyler Allgeier continues to be an important piece of the Atlanta Falcons offense, picking up 137 carries for 644 yards and three touchdowns. In three years in the NFL, Allgeier has 533 rushes, 2,362 yards and 10 touchdowns to go along with 47 receptions, 420 yards and two more scores.
Taysom Hill is still with the New Orleans Saints after suffering a season-ending injury after eight games in 2024. Hill is entering his ninth NFL season in 2025 while recovering. Hill continues to be one of the league's most versatile players, having scored 33 rushing touchdowns, 11 receiving touchdowns and 11 passing touchdowns in his career.
Punter Ryan Rehkow had quite a debut for the Cincinnati Bengals as a rookie in 2024, playing in all 17 games as a rookie and punted 53 times for 2603 yards. His gross punting average (49.1) and net average (42.9) each set a Bengals single-season record and led all rookies in 2024. In his career debut on Sept. 8 vs. New England, he set an NFL single-game record with 64.5 yards per punt (minimum four attempts), and set a team record for longest punt (80 yards).
Rehkow signed an extension with the Bengals through 2026.
Safety Zayne Anderson and running back Chris Brooks remain with the Green Bay Packers while quarterback Kedon Slovis is still on the roster for the Houston Texans.
Quarterback Zach Wilson and defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga both signed with new teams in 2025. Wilson joined the Miami Dolphins and Tonga went to the New England Patriots.
