PROVO, Utah — BYU’s doubles team of Gracie Levelston and Kendall Kovick advanced to the ITA Mountain Regional final on Friday after defeating Colorado’s Rixt Van Der Werff and Lera Alexin, 6-2, 6-1.

The Cougar duo will compete in Saturday’s championship match against Northern Arizona’s Natalie Rainke and Madelynn Ludwig at 9 a.m. MDT at the indoor courts.

In extra singles action, BYU’s YuYun Chen fell to Colorado’s Ema Bubalo, 6-4, 6-3; Bella Lewis dropped her match to Colorado’s Pia Rebec, 6-2, 6-3; and Karina Mohamed was defeated by Colorado’s Lani Brotman, 6-3, 6-2.
