FORT WORTH, Texas — BYU women’s tennis will travel to Texas to compete at the TCU Invitational, starting Thursday, Oct. 23 and running through the 26th.

The tournament features a deep field, including TCU, SMU, Baylor, Texas Tech, Texas, Notre Dame, Rice, Nebraska, Washington State, Arizona and Washington.

Baylor’s doubles team of Na Dong and Zuzanna Kubacha claimed the ITA Texas Regional doubles title to earn an automatic berth to the 2025 NCAA Championships, while Texas advanced two singles players and one doubles pair to the Round of 16 at the same event. Arizona qualified four players for the ITA All-American Championships, including Josie Usereau, the first Wildcat ever to reach both the singles and doubles main draw. Washington reached the doubles semifinals at the ITA Northwest Regionals, highlighted by Erika Matsuda and Carina Syrtveit defeating Stanford in the quarterfinals.

Six Cougars will compete in singles play. In doubles, BYU will feature three pairs: Kendall Kovick and Gracie Levelston, Yuyun Chen and Bella Lewis, and Sage Bergeson and Karina Mohamed.

The Invitational marks another key stop in BYU’s fall schedule as the Cougars continue to build match experience and doubles chemistry ahead of the spring dual season. Match times and draws will be announced by TCU prior to competition.

Updates and results will be posted from the team’s Instagram account @byuwtennis.
