PROVO, Utah — BYU women’s tennis will host the ITA Regional Championships beginning Tuesday, Oct. 7, through Saturday, Oct. 11, with matches running daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Cougars will have eight competitors in the tournament, participating in both singles and doubles play.
Singles competitors: Bella Lewis, Sage Bergeson, Kendall Kovick, YuYun Chen, Karina Mohamed, and Gracie Levelston.
Doubles pairs: Chen/Bergeson, Lewis/Mohamed, and Levelston/Kovick.

The five-day tournament opens with singles qualifying rounds, where 16 of 64 players will advance to join 48 automatic qualifiers in the main draw. Main draw singles and doubles play will follow, continuing through Saturday, Oct. 11.

BYU players who make deep runs will have the chance to qualify for the ITA Sectional Championships in Seattle, Nov. 14–16. The two singles finalists and doubles champions will also earn automatic bids to the NCAA Championships in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 18–23.
