The second day of activities at the Pop-Tarts Bowl included a joint activity with Georgia Tech, practice and a fun evening on the town.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Day two of activities and prep for the Pop-Tarts Bowl included a joint team activity with Georgia Tech, an afternoon practice and more activities around the Orlando area in the evening. 

The first event of the day was a visit by the team to Fun Spot America. a local amusement park to meet up with members of the Georgia Tech team and local youth from the community. Players from both teams took kids on rides, spent time playing games and visiting with the children. 

Head coach Kalani Sitake, and Yellow Jackets coach Brent Key kicked off the event together and sent both squads off to enjoy the roller coasters, carnival games and other activities. 

Following the morning activity, BYU headed off to one of the local high schools to hold its first practice in Orlando.

The Cougars utlized the two-hour practice session to continue prep for Georgia Tech and Saturday's game at Camping World Stadium. 

After practice, Coach Sitake and other members of the staff and BYU administration attended a special dinner party with their counterparts at Georgia Tech at Del Frisco's Steakhouse while the players explored the local area during the evening hours. 

Wednesday, BYU's coordinators and select players will speak with members of the media and then the Cougars will hold another practice to kick off another day of action at the Pop-Tarts Bowl.
