MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — In their second ever matchup against the Mountaineers, the Cougars clinched a 4-0 victory after winning five-straight matches.
"It's not easy playing on the road, so coming home with two wins this weekend is huge for us," said head coach Holly Hasler. "We went into the weekend with an intense focus on problem-solving. Today was cold and windy; it rained and halfway through we moved indoors. The focus stayed strong and we got the job done. I'm very proud of these ladies."
"It was impressive to see the way we took charge and executed game plans this weekend," said assistant coach Anastasia Hayden. "We move forward with a learning mindset after each match and it's been fun to see the results."
The Cougars are now 14-6 this season and 4-3 in the Big 12, and the currently boast a three-match win streak.

The Cougars secured the doubles point after two 6-3 wins from doubles teams Huang/Tan and Levelston/Tullis.

Levelston took the first singles point for BYU in two sets, only allowing her opponent to take three total games. Huang followed suit with another win in two sets to put the Cougars one match away from a clinch.
Tan took the match after winning 6-4 6-3, leaving Kovick's, Bluestein's and Smith's matches unfinished.
Kovick won her first set after a tiebreak and was up 3-2 in the second set. Bluestein took her first set and was up 2-1 in the second. Smith lost the first set 6-3 but was up in the second set 5-2.
