IRVING, Texas — Coming off another Big 12 win against Denver, Brynlee Andersen-Broekman earned Big 12 Event Specialist of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Andersen-Broekman competed on both beam and floor, scoring a 9.875 on beam and a 9.900 on floor, tying her career high on the event. With the highest beam score of the meet, she earned her sixth top-podium finish of the season. The Orem, Utah native now has six beam scores of 9.875 or higher this year. Her 9.9 on floor against Denver was one of four BYU scores of 9.9 or higher, helping them achieve their highest event score since 2022, 49.550.
