PROVO, Utah — The BYU women’s tennis team heads back on the road this weekend for a pair of nonconference matches in Memphis, Tennessee, facing Arkansas State on Friday, Feb. 6 at 11 a.m. MT before taking on Memphis on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. MT at the Leftwich Tennis Center.

Friday’s contest marks BYU’s first-ever meeting with Arkansas State. The Cougars will then face Memphis on Saturday in the second matchup all-time between the two programs, with BYU holding a 1–0 advantage in the series.

BYU’s doubles lineup continues to be a key strength early in the spring. The duo of Gracie Levelston and Kendall Kovick is ranked No. 38 nationally in this week’s ITA doubles rankings, providing a steady presence at the top of the lineup.

Last weekend in Idaho, BYU opened both matches by securing the doubles point, setting the tone in victories over Boise State and Idaho State. The Cougars carried that momentum into singles play to close out both road wins.
