PROVO, Utah – BYU is set to compete in the Ron and Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational on March 27-28 at Allyson Felix Field at Loker Track Stadium.

The throws crew will start things off Friday, competing in the discus and hammer throw. Lia Pili, Jayda Lee, Lia Katoa and Kaiah Fisher will compete in the discus. Fisher earned the No. 5 program spot last weekend at the Utah Tech Invitational with her throw of 54.35m/178-3. Katoa sits No. 10 on that list. In the hammer throw, Katoa is expected to highlight the event as she currently holds the No. 7 program-best mark.

Throws continue into Saturday with the shot put and javelin. Zoey Bonds, Sarena Mackley, Kat Beachler, Pili and Fisher will compete in the shot put, and Tia Brown and Alysa Keller will join Bonds, Mackley and Beachler in the javelin.

Abbie Scott and Cailee Faulkner are set for the pole vault. Faulkner currently holds the No. 6 program mark with 4.21m/13-9.75. Sarena Mackley is set for the long jump.

Paje Rasmussen will seek her first 200-meter outdoor win this season alongside teammate Mackley. Cambria Hasler and Mikensi Smith are set for the 100m.

Madelynne Taggart, Mayci Taylor, Berklie Ahlander, McEuen and Brown will compete in the 400m hurdles, with Taylor entering with the top seeded time.

BYU is set for two relay events, the 4x100m and 4x400m. Smith, Rasmussen, Kali McEuen and Marianne Barber are set for the 4x100m, and Hasler, Smith, Taggart and Taylor will compete in the 4x400m.
