LOS ANGELES – Paje Rasmussen clocked the second-fastest 200-meter in school history, while Marianne Barber, Zoey Bonds and Mayci Taylor added top-10 program marks Saturday at the Ron and Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational at Allyson Felix Field.
Rasmussen crossed in 23.11 to win the 200m, and her time was just 0.01 seconds off Jaslyn Gardner’s school record set in 2024. This is Rasmussen’s third appearance on the outdoor top-10 list and second straight meet since last week’s Utah Tech Invitational. The Draper, Utah product owns the 200m program record in indoor track, as she clocked a 22.91 at the 2026 Big 12 Championships.
Barber finished third in the 400m, but her time of 53.51 was good enough to earn the No. 6 spot. Taylor added a program mark, No. 8 in the 400m hurdles, where the senior clocked a 58.04. After posting the 10th-best program mark in the event last week, Taylor trimmed 0.43 off her previous time to win the event by more than one second.
In the 100m hurdles, Bonds crossed in 13.46 to earn the No. 7 spot in program history. She improved from her previous best by 0.06 seconds.
Alysa Keller led Saturday’s throwing, as she won the javelin with her 50.38m/165-3. Sarena Mackley, Tia Brown and Zoey Bonds also competed in the event, taking fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively.
BYU had three athletes finish in the top three of the 400m hurdles. After Taylor’s win, Kali McEuen took second with 59.13 in her first attempt at the event this season. Tia Brown finished third with 1:00.15.
Cailee Faulkner and Abbie Scott competed in the pole vault, and Faulkner won the event with her 4.12m/13-6.25. Scott cleared 4.02m/13-2.25.
Cambria Hasler, Mikensi Smith, Taylor and Madelynne Taggart took second in the 4x400m relay, crossing in 3:44.03.
Mae Johnson matched her outdoor-best high jump of 1.74m/5-8.5 to take third as the only freshman in the field.
Friday’s throwing events were led by Lia Katoa, who finished fourth in the hammer throw with her 55.92m/183-5. Jayda Lee set a personal best in the discus with her throw of 47.39m/155-6. Kat Beachler set a personal best in the hammer throw with her 53.30m/174-10.
