IRVING, Texas — BYU women’s basketball’s Kambree Barber, Brinley Cannon, Heather Hamson, Arielle Mackey-Williams, Hattie Ogden and Lara Rohkhol earned Big 12 Winter Academic Team honors, the Conference announced on Thursday morning.

To qualify for the Winter Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.20 GPA or higher, either cumulative or over the two previous semesters, and must have participated in 20% of their team’s scheduled contests. Freshmen are not eligible, while transfers in their first year of academic residence are eligible. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.

Barber, who is majoring in business, appeared in 29 games, starting 11 during the 2025-26 campaign and averaged 4.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. The sophomore scored in double figures on three occasions and grabbed five or more rebounds in 14 games, with the Cougars going 10-4 in such contests. Her signature performance came in a 12-point, 11-rebound outing that also featured two made threes and two blocks in BYU's WBIT Round of 8 win over Missouri.

Cannon, who is studying family life, delivered her career-best performance in the Cougars’ first game against Utah, scoring a career-high 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including all six 3-point attempts. She also contributed four boards, two blocks, two steals and two assists in the win. Cannon scored in double-figures 12 times, grabbed five or more rebounds in 18 games and increased her 3-point percentage by 8.2 percent to 35.9 percent in 2025-26.

Hamson, who completed her master’s degree in athletic training, appeared in 11 games during her senior season at BYU. The senior scored a season-high four points in BYU's win over Coastal Carolina, going 2-for-2 from the field. She recorded seven rebounds, two blocks, two steals and two assists during the 2025-26 campaign.

Ogden, who graduated with a degree in biology, appeared in 23 games for the Cougars in 2025-26. The native of Magrath, Alberta, Canada, scored a season-high nine points that featured three made triples in BYU’s win over Omaha. Ogden was named a 2025-26 Kay Yow Servant Leader, one of just 64 players in the country to receive the honor.

Rohkohl, who completed her communications degree, scored in double figures 15 times during her lone season in Provo, with BYU going 15-0 when the senior scored 10 or more points. She also notched three or more blocks in seven games, with the Cougars winning all seven contests. The native of Hanover, Germany, recorded three double-doubles in wins against Coastal Carolina (13 pts, 10 reb), at Arizona State (11 pts, 10 reb) and against Stanford (10 pts, 11 reb). She concluded her career with season-highs of 14 rebounds and six blocks to go along with nine points in the Cougars' WBIT Semifinal win over Kansas

Mackey-Williams, who completed her master’s degree in biology, appeared in 20 games for the Cougars in 2025-26, averaging 13.1 minutes per game. She turned in four double-figure scoring performances on the season and scored a season-high 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting, including two triples in the Cougars' win over Washington State at the Delta Center. After missing two-straight games due to injury, Mackey-Williams scored eight crucial points for the Cougars against Montana to help push them to a 5-0 start.
