- Enjoys writing poetry, singing, dancing, making music, playing video games, and spending time with the family

- Also recruited by U.C. Davis, U.C. Santa Barbara, Cornell, University of Illinois, Yale, Harvard.
Before BYU
- Earned four varsity letters in track and field in high school
- Owns the 110m hurdle record at his high school
- Won the 2015 CIF Masters Meet in the long jump
- Placed 8th at the CIF State Track and Field meet in the long jump
- 2015 and 2014 Baseline League Champion
