- Older sisters Cristen, competed for BYU gymnastics and younger sister Candace later competed
- Brother, Michael, competed on the track team at Utah State
- Majoring in fitness/wellness management
- Likes waterskiing and dancing
Before BYU
- Prepped at American Fork High
- Coached by Brad and Dawn Cattermole and Lori Browser at All-American Gymnastics in Orem
- Won the floor and vault titles at the Bailies Invitational
- Finished second on floor and third on vault at the 1997 Utah State championships
