- Parents put her in gymnastics at age three and she has loved it ever since
- Dad was a college gymnast and mom did gymnastics in high school
- National Honor Society member at Buena High School
- Her teammates have nicknamed her "Muscles"
Before BYU
- Coached by Gina Mueller-Martin at Gymnastics World
- Level 9 Vault Champion for two years
- Placed second in Level 9 State meet
- Level 10 Arizona State Champion on vault, placed second in all-around
- 2002 Junior Olympic National Region 1 team member
