PROVO -- For the first time since the 2001 season, a BYU quarterback, running back and tight end have each received All-Mountain West Conference first-team honors. After being selected to the second team last season, both quarterback John Beck and Curtis Brown were named to the MWC first-team in 2005. One of the nation's top tight ends, Jonny Harline, also earned first-team honors. He is the first tight end since Doug Jolley--now with the New York Jets--to earn first-team honors.
Offensive linemen Jake Kuresa and Lance Reynolds were selected to the All-MWC second team, along with defensive lineman Manaia Brown and linebacker Cameron Jensen. Linebacker Justin Luettgerodt earned All-MWC honorable-mention honors.
