Fredette to Play in Pro Player Charity Classic

SALT LAKE CITY – Jimmer Fredette — BYU’s all-time leading scorer and the 2011 NCAA National Player of the Year — will play in the Pro Player Charity Classic on Monday, Nov. 7, at Salt Lake Community College. The game will feature a team comprised of several Jazz players against a team of other players from around the NBA.

Tickets for the game can be purchased by visiting www.smithstix.com.

Fredette, selected 10th in the 2011 NBA Draft, will team up with Chauncey Billups, Stephen Curry, Corey Maggette, Wesley Mathews and Anthony Tolliver. The Jazz team will include Devin Harris, Paul Millsap, Enes Kanter, Ronnie Price, Jeremy Evans, Derrick Favors, Early Watson, Al Jefferson and Alec Burks.

The game will benefit the following charities: Ronald McDonald House, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Special Olympics and the OI Foundation.
