• At Roseville High School in Roseville, Calif., he had a 7-3 record with a 2.01 ERA after a 4-0 start his senior season.
• First team All-San Joaquin Conference.
• Played four years of Legion ball in high school and collegiate summer ball.
• In summer pf 2012, he  played American Legion ball and for the Sacramento Scortch.
