BOCA RATON, Fla. – BYU women’s golf (287-288–575) is tied for eighth after Monday’s opening 36 holes of the FAU Paradise Invitational at Osprey Point Golf Course.

Junior Lily McCauley (71-70–141) sits tied for 11th after shooting 3-under in today’s first and second rounds. McCauley made three birdies in round one and two birdies in round two. Additionally, she carded the second-most pars out of anyone in the competition with 29.

Oklahoma (276-278–554) claimed the top spot after going 22-under. Fellow Big 12 conference member Oklahoma State (277-279–556) sits in second and Mercer (283-287–570) is in third place.

Kanyanol (Naji) Aramkul shot even par with the help of her rounds of 74-70–144. The freshman from Thailand made six birdies today. 

Alexa Udom and Maria Jose “MJ” Barragan are each tied for 28th after shooting a 1-over 145. Sophomore Whitney Banz is currently tied for 65th with her 8-over 152.
