PROVO, Utah — Eleven BYU swimmers will compete at the 2025 CSCAA National Invitational Championship in Ocala, Florida March 13-15.
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America’s annual postseason meet gives qualified Cougar swimmers a final opportunity to improve their times before moving into the collegiate offseason.

BYU men’s swimming will be represented by Peter Etzold, Nathaniel Eliason, Max Kleinman, Darwin Anderson, Jacob Ballard, Tyler Edlefsen and Grant Chapa.
Etzold, a freshman from Cape Town, South Africa, earned All-Big 12 Second Team status in the 100 breast with a personal-best 52.40. Three-time Big 12 Men’s Newcomer of the Week Nathaniel Eliason is coming off a school-record 200 free time of 1:34.66 set at conference championships.
Kleinman, Anderson, Ballard, Edlefsen and Chapa combined for 13 personal best times at Big 12 Championships.
BYU women’s swimmers Lucy Warnick, Ellie Boyer, Elle Decker and Lucy Marek will also compete in Ocala.
Warnick, a freshman from Las Vegas, Nevada, became BYU’s first freshman to secure a first team all-conference finish since 2022 with a personal-best 4:15.21 in the 400 individual medley. Boyer, Decker and Marek clocked a combined seven personal best times at Big 12’s and will also look to finish the 2024-25 season strong at CSCAA NIC.
