PROVO, Utah — Women’s golf will head to Lihue, Hawaii for the Rainbow Wahine Invitational at The Ocean Course at Hokuala from Oct. 20-22.

The Cougars are coming off a 10th place finish at the Route 66 Invitational in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Sophomore Kanyanol (Naji) Aramkul took home seventh as an individual for her second top-10 finish of her BYU career.

BYU will be part of a 19-team field that consists of Baylor, Boise State, Eastern Michigan, Grand Canyon, host Hawai‘i, Idaho, Kansas, Kennesaw State, Long Beach State, Missouri, Nevada, Osaka Gakuin (Japan), Sacramento State, San Diego State, Santa Clara, Tulane, Washington State and Washington. 

The lineup that will travel across the Pacific to compete will be sophomores Ava Schroeder and Aramkul, juniors Maria Jose “MJ” Barragan and Whitney Banz and senior Lily McCauley

This three-day event includes 18-hole rounds on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. 

The Cougars begin round one on Monday at 1:30 p.m. MST. Live scoring can be found on Scoreboard, and live updates will be posted on Instagram and X throughout the event.
