- On staff at BYU since 2013, rose from assistant to associate head coach, interim head coach and now enters his third full season as head coach (2023-).
- In 2022, led BYU to wins in nine of its final 10 regular season games after being named interim head coach midway through the season.
- Helped BYU reach the NCAA Tournament in 2017, its first tourney bid since 2002
- Helped the Cougars to WCC regular season championships in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
- Pratt’s time at BYU has seen 18 players selected in the MLB Draft, including six during his head coaching tenure.
- Coached third baseman Austin Deming to All-America Third Team honors and 10th-round selection by the Houston Astros in 2023.

- Played four seasons in Philadelphia Phillies organization
- Selected by the Phillies in the 12th round of the 2002 MLB Draft.
- Played catcher at Arizona State (1999-2000) and Auburn (2001-2002)

- Started 30 of 49 games as a freshman for the Sun Devils in 1999, hitting .307 with 28 runs scored and 24 RBI
- Four-year letter winner at Tooele High School (Tooele, Utah) in baseball and basketball

Personal
- Pratt and his wife, Darice, are the parents of six children: Morgan, Marly, Brooks, Tess, Blake and Tug.
- Wife, Darice, played volleyball at New Mexico State and Arizona State, formerly head coach at Dixie State and currently director of Utah County’s South County Volleyball Club
